Started in emergency medicine
Became an EMT at the very start of my working life, then an ER Tech at Antelope Valley Hospital — the beginning of a career built on staying calm when nothing else is.
Registered Nurse — Emergency Department
Earned my RN and spent three years in the ER of a Level II trauma center in Southern California, assessing critical patients and supporting physicians in a fast-moving environment.
Cath Lab & Kaiser Permanente
Moved into the cardiac cath lab, assisting interventional cardiologists and radiologists with procedures, sedation, and rhythm management — and joined Kaiser Permanente, where I've since worked across urgent care, dermatology, pediatrics, and infusion.
Co-founded South Bend 7, LLC
A decade of personal real-estate investing — starting with my first property at 24 — led to co-founding a debt-free, SEC-regulated private equity fund. We raised $1.5M from passive investors and grew the portfolio to $2.5M before I divested in 2019 to refocus on nursing and family.
COVID-19 vaccine clinic & BSN
Helped lead operations at a mass-vaccination clinic administering up to 1,500 doses a day at peak, providing guidance to fellow RNs and LVNs — while completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capella University.
Founded Mobile IV Stat
Took the IV pole to the patient: a nurse-founded mobile IV hydration company making house calls across Middle Tennessee — stomach bugs, migraines, and rough weeks treated in people's own living rooms. Wound it down to build SDub Media full-time, and closed the book with a perfect record: 102 Google reviews, every one of them five stars.
